COUNTRYSIDE VETERINARY HOSPITAL has been caring for dogs, cats, birds, and other small animal pets since 1985, and is owned and operated by Dr. Brian Holub. Countryside prides itself on excellence in customer service and veterinary medicine, as well as being on the cutting edge of veterinary medical technology. We are easily accessible and are open 7 days a week. We are compassionate to the needs of our clientele and their best friend companions of the four-footed, or feathered kind.

Pet Portals: Did you know that you can manage your pet's health on line anytime through our pet portal! Just click on the pet portal log in on the side menu bar on the pages of this web site or the links on the top and bottom of the web site pages to be brought to the pet portal registration and log in screen. There, you'll be able to request refills on food and prescriptions, schedule  appointments, review your pet's vaccine history and set-up time for your pet to stay in our boarding facility. Countryside Canine Rehabilitation Referrals: Managed by certified canine rehabilitation practitioner, Dr. Jackie Jacobs, our suite is outfitted to meet all of your pet's physical therapy  needs. Countryside clients make appointments directly through our front office scheduling team. To utilize our physical therapy suite on a referral basis, off-site referral patients are accepted to the facility through the pet's primary veterinarian. Countryside Furry Fitness Weight Loss Club: Does your dog need to shed some extra pounds? Could you use a support group to help get him to his goal? We've got some great news! We offer a weight loss clinic, called the Furry Fitness Club, for pets. Pet parents and their pets meet once monthly with other who are working toward the same goal, a happier, healthier, longer life for their pet. Membership in the club is free and includes a designated diet and weight loss counselor for your pet. The counselor will assist you and your pet by phone and email, and at scheduled weigh-ins and meetings, to help you both stay on track. Countryside Fit & Fun Playgroup: We are currently accepting members in our Fit N' Fun Playgroup! This is a unique interactive playgroup for dogs looking to burn off excess energy or to promote weight loss, while making new friends. The "Fit & Fun" playgroup meets 1  to 2 times weekly for 90 minute sessions. Similar to a gym membership, sessions include the jog-a-dog treadmill, an obstacle course and lots of group play. Heartworm, Intestinal Parasite, and Flea & Tick Prevention: Though winter weather is upon us, now is not the time to stop giving heartworm, intestinal parasite, and flea & tick preventatives. Check your home supply to see if you are running low or out of product. Your pet needs to be protected from fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites and heartworm disease all year long. If your pet is not on any preventatives, or if you are low on supply, please contact our office. We can help you choose the best products for your pet. Remember, heartworm disease is a very real threat to your pet, and has no immediate symptoms. Ticks cause Lyme disease in pets and humans, and intestinal parasites such as round worm and hook worm can infect humans too. Fleas can live in your home all year long. Please don't ignore the importance of good preventatives. Did you know that if we have your email address on file and in our computer system, we can send you email alerts to Countryside client events including but not limited to: seasonal opportunities such as pictures with Santa, new programs such as Home Food Delivery, exciting events such as our Pet Health Fair, new clubs such as the Fit & Fun Playgroup and Furry Fitness Weight Loss Club, and food sales on your favorite Royal Canin & Prescription Diets? Even if you have previously given us your email address, on your next visit if you wish to be guaranteed to receive these emails, inquire at the veterinary services desk. Ask us if your email address is in our computer system. Once your email is in our system you will also have access to your pet's own Pet Portal and will be able to receive not only a printed reminder card in the mail, but also email examination and vaccination reminders.
